Book Reviews of Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past Life Therapy That Changed Both Their LivesBook Review: Different View Summary: 5 StarsMy best friends sister was only twenty when she past away. I gave her this book not to change her belief in dealth but to see it in a different way. She has never stopped thanking me for helping her see not only that difficult situation more clear but she has also passed it on to some friends that have also been thankful. Everyone should read this book.
Book Review: A great help to understand reincarnation Summary: 5 StarsIt help me to understand reincarnation and to see live in a completely different perspective
Book Review: Validation Summary: 4 StarsThis book was written back in 1988 but recently appeared on an Oprah TV episode (2008). For those interested in the afterlife reincarnation and other realms of reality this book validates past and after life assumptions via Dr. Weiss's professional credentials. The subject in this book lived 86 past lives but only a few are recalled. In addition, other beings speak through the subject to teach us some of the reasons why we exist. Of course many questions arise but few if any will be answered here. Now, as a reader of the "Seth Material" and "Seth Speaks" I was pleased to find commonalities between both books. If you are familiar with Seth you know that he was an entity that spoke through Jane Roberts which was recorded in hundreds of "Sessions". During these sessions Seth taught about the many aspects and dimensions of life. The Seth books are far more informative than Many Lives, Many Masters. Some of the common concepts discussed are:
1. Whether we believe in reincarnation or not we live many lives.
2. We are here to learn.
3. We are here to settle debts owed to people from past events.
4. We are not allowed to kill people at all for any reason. Only God can take a life.
5. Masters are spiritual beings from another plane of reality who come to us to teach.
Many Lives... is a good feeling book but to really get into it please read Seth Speaks. It is far more informative and mind blowing. For instance, we can not only change the future by present action but change the past too. We can create multiple personalities. There are an infinite number of dimensions. If you have doubts about these concepts please be informed that quantum physicists have theorized about numerous if not infinite universes. Another concept Seth declares is that "mind creates reality, not the other way around". Quantum physicists have speculated that conclusion during lab experiments. Basically, we are the masters of our existence and we exist many times over. We never die. We are as dead now as we will ever be. We should not fear death. We must have faith. We choose the time and place of our birth and the time of death. Periods between lives are to refelct upon our past life lessons and to rest and plan our next existence. So many more concepts are discussed. Buy Many Lives and read it then buy Seth Speaks.
Book Review: First it captured my soul, but... Summary: 4 StarsLifting the Veil of Illusions: How to Identify and Heal the Influences of Unseen Forces
When I first read this book a few years back it truly captured my soul. I remember the feeling of hope and excitement when I was rushing home after work with the desire to continue reading. But then, working with cases in my own practice, I was faced with the dilemma that made me to embark on my own journey of deeper study and investigation of past life memories. I will still recommend this book as a wonderful source of knowledge and inspiration that makes you realize that our life on this planet is nothing but a beautiful playground for us to evolve and learn from our experiences. If you are willing to dig deeper into the different sources of past life memories, I recommend "Lifting the Veil of Illusions" chapter on Reincarnation and Past Life Memories.
Book Review: Insightful Summary: 5 StarsVery well written. I feel this book is a must read for anyone going through the grieving process or for anyone with a loved one with a terminal illness or someone who is going through a terminal illness themselves. Perhaps reading this will put their minds to ease and allow them to deal with death and dying a bit better.
