Book Reviews of Many Lives Many MastersBook Review: Loved all his books Summary: 5 StarsI loved all his books, and I learned a lot.
Having the same problems as the patient described in his book, I found some confort.I would like to read Many lives,Many Masters too,and I hope he will continue to write about the subject.
Book Review: Introduces open minds to an alternative explanation Summary: 4 StarsI completely enjoyed listening to Dr. Weiss' voyage into the world of reincarnation. This was my first Weiss book, and I will assuredly listen to his other audiobooks. Although a novice on the subject of reincarnation, I found the book very informative and educational. Dr. Weiss takes you along on this journey through his sessions with a patient. Unknowingly, he discovers that the patient's ailments are linked to past lives. The skeptic in him becomes a believer. Traditional ideas and rules of thought are important in our lives and development, but they cannot explain everything. Dr. Weiss introduces his readers to an alternative explanation of our lives, souls, and even death. I was only sorry that it was abridged (one tape - 90 minutes).
Book Review: Read the book - don't bother with the audio Summary: 3 StarsI have a feeling if all moving stories like this were recorded by the authors for release on audio, there would be many LESS bestsellers! I'd heard great things about the book from a co-worker and thought I'd get the audio to listen on the bus to work. I was very disappointed in that there was very little personality in the author/reader's voice, making it very difficult to feel the impact of the events unfolding in his office with his patient. Nevertheless, Catherine's hynotic transgressions made me wonder a lot about my own personal experiences in this life which may have roots in my past lives, and I was intrigued by the information she was able to recall through the doctor's sessions. If you are at all curious about the possibility of living many lives, BUY THIS BOOK. And be open to your own mind and voice interpreting its message.
Book Review: An excellent book, Summary: 5 StarsThis book was a fantastic book to read, it really opened my eyes to the fact that we have probably all been on this earth before, and that the phobias we have in our current lives could actually stem back to our past lives. I would recommend anyone to read this book and I can assure you that you wont be able to put the book down.
Book Review: An interesting backup to religious thought Summary: 4 StarsI found this book confirms what all great religious teachings say about life after death. Brian Weiss takes this a little further however and describes in detail what happens after death. The thing that struck me was that what he said in the book did not conflict with the major religious teachings of the world. It certainly stimulates the mind into further enquiry.
