I loved this book! Lora Leigh is an awesome writer, and this book is the beginning of a 4 book series. The characters are well developed, and the story flows well. This book is not for the faint of heart, and is very sexually graphic. Marly goes through a lot of soul searching and sexual awareness dealing with the love she has for the 3 brothers who helped raise her.Book Review: HOT

I'm glad I read this expecting it to be horrendously written with skeevy sex because I had a blast (for the most part). I'd read a friend's reviews of the Nauti series, so I was well prepped for Leigh (and preparation is all-important, if you know Leigh's preferred tropes.) As a result, I didn't get hung up on all the "da*n yous" and souls and waxed beef curtains, although I did discover that "harsh" and "bit out" are just as (ill-)used by La Leigh.
But I now see why Leigh is such a guilty pleasure, because published Godawfulness really doesn't get better than this. The sex wasn't hot (I seem to be in the minority on that), the "plot" was inept and only there to make this technically "erotica" instead of flat-out porn, and the characters were so OTT and one-note that I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading. Even so, while the hilarious stuff was epic, the blah stuff was really blah. I'd love to have given it 5 stars for all the funneh, but it didn't have THAT many ha-has.
Will I read any more by this absurdly prolific and unedited stream-of-consciousness self-dervative porn queen? Perhaps. Probably by the time I pick up another one, she'll have written 20 more books and it won't matter which one I pick up because they'll all be the same!
There's always something to be learned from every book. La Leigh has taught me that an empty orifice is a lonely orifice, as well as the valuable psychotherapy advice that fraternal bonds can be reaffirmed by having your dudewand rub against your bro's with only an adopted niece's cavity-separating membrane separating them.
Otherwise, it's just gay.

Marly's Choice by Lora Leigh was my first menage book that I ever read. I was pleased with this story. It's a unique book filled with lots of hot sex and a wonderful storyline about three brothers who while teenagers were sexually abused by a family member. They escaped their abuser but now they have a unique bond where they prefer to share their women.
Marly's Choice is mainly about the eldest August brother, Cade and the woman he and his brothers grew up with, Marly.
Both Cade and Marly are really sexually attracted to each other and there are some of the best sex scenes I've ever read in this book (as well as Lora Leigh's other two books in this series - Sarah's Seduction and Heather's Gift).
The menages between Marly, Cade and his two brothers I thought were fantastic and really well written and quite arousing.
If you love menages this is a MUST read!!!!
Besides hot sex there is a suspenseful story going on too that brings the brother's past back to haunt all of them.
Like I said this book was my FIRST menage book and after experiencing it and the other two I don't want to go back to straightlaced vanilla romance books ever again. LOL.
