Book Review: Best Christmas Album Ever

The critics are loving this cd and so will you. In addition to Raul's beautiful voice you will be delighted to discover that this cd is not the same old thing. Some of the songs are done in a standard arrangement and rely on Raul's voice to make the magic. On other songs he uses his ability to look at songs in a new way to change up the arrangements. An example is Silver Bells, where the arrangement is done as a tango with a scat bridge. Fantastic album, fantastic arrangements, and fantastic voice. I have played this cd dozens of times since I received it. I bought several for Christmas gifts. Buy this cd, you will not be disappointed.Book Review: Definitely A New Classic

These performances are excellant. Ralph does some of the lesser known and forgotten songs as well as the overworrked songs of Christmas in his usual big band/jazz/country style. Above all...the sound is EXCELLANT!! VERY well engineered. As a bonus, when played back with Dolby PL II decoding, sound as if it was encoded...sound like a discreet SACD or DVD-A surround mix. Malo's voice is so rich and strong no matter what he sings. This album will make you want to start baking holiday cookies and hanging the mistletoe!
Silent Night and Feliz Navidad are two of my favorites. The album is definitely worth adding to your holiday collection!
