I love this music! Raul puts his own flair to some of my favorite Christmas songs. (I thought Elvis was the only one that could sing Santa Claus is Back in Town, but no!) It's obvious that the band had fun while making this music, which makes it even more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this CD!Book Review: Sad to say..it was a disappointment

I have been a fan of Raul since first seeing the Mavericks on T.V. I have all their CD's as well as all of Raul's solo projects. He has a wonderful voice but, sadly, it wasn't showcased well on this recording. Several of the songs were done in an arrangement I just didn't care for. The best tracks: Marshmallow World, Feliz Navidad, Blue Christmas (both versions), White Christmas (in that order). The worst track: Silver Bells (WHAT were they thinking??).Book Review: Smooooth

You just know that if Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack were still alive and swinging, they would have to induct Raul Malo as a full-fledged member. The man has a voice even Dino and Ol' Blues Eyes would admire. And this cd is worth the listen just for Malo's heart-melting take on that old standby, 'White Christmas.' This cd makes me wish there would be some more Malo music for me under the tree this year.
