I purchased Marva Collins' Way after hearing Ellen Kriedman, Ph.D., rave about it on her tape series, Light Her Fire. After reading it, I am more convinced than ever that our public and private educational systems need a major overhaul and Marva Collins has the prescription for bringing a success-oriented attitude into classrooms across America. Every parent who cares about his child and every teacher who cares about his students should read this book. It demonstrates what I have always believed. Every child is important enough, valuable enough for the adults in his life to bring a serious investment of time, effort and enthusiasm to the task developing that child's character and ability.
