Book Review: A good book, if a bit light...

I can see why other reviewers have said this book is not all that hardcore. If you like really really hard core stuff, this is probably not the book for you. I apparently can be entertained by lighter stuff too. I really like having stories from both perspectives. My boyfriend and I have read several of the stories together and it has sparked really interesting conversations as we consider each other's perspective.Book Review: A must read!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is into erotic BDSM books. I love reading the stories over and over again. (Especially from the Slave side)I love how it has tales from both sides. It has so many stories so if you don't enjoy one of them then don't give up but I can almost fully guarantee that you will love all of the stories. I picked up this book hoping for a variety of situations for both the master and slave positions. Instead I was met with a set of very sexist and unrealistic stories. All of the master situations are from a male point of view, and the slave is always a woman. In real life, it is actually significantly rare for a man to want to play the role of master because of the high ranking dominant positions they hold at work. The same is true transversely, where women usually prefer to have the empowerment of being master and able to dominate the males that suppress them in every day life. Master and slave is supposed to be a role play where the person achieves what they lack in their daily lives. Though there are somewhat rare situations where these ideas do not hold true, I do not think it is worth thirty stories of basically the same tune. I won't even begin to note how there was nothing from a gay/lesbian point of view either. This book is not a fair demonstration of how master and slave work, and I do not recommend wasting time on reading it, unless of course you want to be pulled into the mainstream ideals that society presents males as always dominant and females as always submissive.Book Review: GREAT BOOK!!!

I love this book. I like seeing things from both sides and the stories are just fantastic. Some beginners, amateurs, and pros stories combined, which makes the idea of 'how it works' easy to grasp. To be honest the stories within this book are very basic, they dont give much detail, nor is there anything other than a bit of spanking, and light bondage described.
Maybe i've become more hardcore but, in all honesty the stories to me were just very boring and vanilla. If your just buying it to get the free super saver shipping then it might be worth your time but there are plenty of other books that are in many ways worth your money more than this one....
