Book Review: An Okay Book. Might make a good picture.

Eric Garcia's writing is so slick it seems like he's written a film as a novel. This does lift the characters off the page but unofortuatley their not engaging enough to fully empathise with.We're presented with an aging con-artist and a young one. Two characters that just seemed to be stock gangsters. Its better left to the imagination as there are many holes in this book but it is certainly entertaining and will make a lot of money as a film...
But all in all if you want to enjoy to its fullest i recommend the film which might serve a better purpose of exploring the characters and incidents than the book did.
