I thought the book was really good, but I thought some of the writing was predictable. For an example, in the book Worm told Max that she wanted to go see her dad in Chivalry, Montana, but when he asked her why she said she really did not want to talk about it. Even though it does not mean a lot, it gave away the ending for me.
This book is about a boy who is trying to get over the loss of his best friend, Kevin, but meets a girl named Worm who has a love for books. That is where she gets the name Worm. One day Max goes to Worms's house and that's when everything goes downhill for Max. He runs away with Worm after he learns her evil stepfather, The Undertaker abuses Worm and her mother so he and Worm run away to Chivalry, Montana where Worm says her dad lives. So on the way they meet some unusual people like Dippy Hippy, who is a retired teacher but drives around the country. Dippy Hippy is also the person who gets Max and Worm to Montana. Along the way they pick up a hobo named Hobo Joe and a wanted man and his wife.
This book is great and perfect for all ages. It is full of action, drama, and interesting characters, such as evil step dads, hippies, and a hobo. This book is suspenseful and will leave you on the edge of your seats for days.

Have you ever read a really exciting book, that when you read it you can't stop turning the page untill the end? Have your eyes ever get wide open when you read an exciting book? Have you ever felt sad when you read a book? I have been there and done that with this book! It is such an excellent book to read, I loved it ever since I came to Chapter 2! It so sad though, that the Undertaker was so abusive to her and her mother. I almost cried and I just couldn't put the book down! Read this amazing book!!
