Book Review: Get your wires singing

This is a great intro to the instrument for the beginning doborist. This plus a decent instruction book and/or DVD could cause you to lose all track of time. Pull up your notes and charts from your favorite songs, take a look at the charts, and you're off to the races. Her chart will help you break out of the "perpendicular box" (that your bar must always be at a 90 degree angle to the strings)...that's just not how a dobro works. But she also throws in some music theory (i.e. circle of fifths) that will come in handy.
The chart is easy to read, and belongs in your woodshed.
