The book came with a CD and a DVD which are both very helpful when you're learning the different notes and the songs. However, I think that it would be more helpful to have a page about how to set up a brand-new violin and a picture of where your fingers should be on the fingerboard, just in case you can't use the DVD or you lose it or something.
