This book is excellent. It accompanies Pat Kirtley's CD of the same name and I would strongly recommend you buy a copy to listen to in tandem with learning the tunes in this book.
This book contains the tablature and sheet music for every tune on the CD. In my experience that's pretty unusual - and makes it excellent value.
I suggest listening to the CD first. If you like the tunes enough to want to play them then you'll love this book.
The introduction contains very good playing notes on each tune. For example: "[For Rodney's Glory] I use my left hand thumb to fret many of the notes on the 6th string. At the beginning of the B part (measure 11), keep a barre across 3 strings at fret 7 with your index finger."
See? As I said, this book is excellent. You won't be disappointed.
