Book Review: A Great Book for All Mandolinists
Summary: 5 Stars
I highly recommend this book to anyone who aspires to expand their mandolin repertoire in the classical & Brazilian genres! The exercises are interesting and the pieces that she has either arranged or written herself provide an eclectic sampling of the mandolin's distinguished past and it's further development in contemporary times. The cd is outstanding and is great music to listen to even if you don't play. Hopefully, Mel Bay will publish a sequel to this book that focuses on some of the works from new composers that Marilynn has played.
