Book Review: A good start
Summary: 3 Stars
This book seems more like a work in progress. The material that is presented is very good, but it only lays out 2 tunes. The accompanying DVDs only cover these 2 tunes (1 tune per DVD, a lot of wasted space!!). There are other tunes printed in the book, but they have nothing to go with them. The "tools" section is very good, but I think the entire book could have been layed out better to group the tools with the tunes, or have them at the beginning to work through, then get into the tunes. So much more could have been done with this book that would have made it a much stronger assset.
Also, the 1st DVD starts out with a 6 minute "intro" of sorts by the author talking about time restarints on the DVD. Well then, why waste 6 minutes talking about it and just add more useful stuff to the disk?
I'd really like to see a complete revision of this before I'd rate it higher than 3 stars.
