I bought this book as I saw that the FFcP (Four Finger Closed Positions) which it sets out was highly recommended. This book will give you all the scales, arpeggios and chords which will turn you from an intermediate mandolinist into an advanced Jazz mandolinist. The author does not waste time and these exercises will push your left hand to its limits, but at the end you will be able to play fluent jazz-mandolin in all positions. This is a must buy for any serious mandolin player.
