As a lifelong Michael Jackson fan, I always knew he was innocent. However I must admit, reading all the press coverage around the time of the trial, my faith in his innocence was tested. Don't get me wrong, I knew he'd be acquitted but seeds of doubt did get placed in my mind, purely because all we, the general public, got fed was a distorted representation of what actually happened in the courtroom.
Aphrodite Jones provides a great read that isn't biased at all and shows how outrageous the accustations against MJ really were. It was so interesting to read parts of the actual court transcripts and I doubt anyone who holds a negative opinion of MJ will believe he's guilty after reading some of these.
Reading this book was actually quite depressing!! I say this because it's disgusting that people could make stuff up about someone and accuse them of such vulgar acts...and for these accustations to then be believed by millions of people so easily, without hearing the whole story. This is mainly down to the media who quite clearly, as proven in this book, have some sort of vendetta against MJ.
I could write for ages about how good this book is and discuss the contents but you really need to read this yourself if you want to know the truth. I will be taking this book to all of my friends who constantly bash MJ, it's not their fault, they're just ignorant..haha.
Most importantly, it shows just how strong MJ is as a man...and what a dirty little runt Martin Bashir is too...(read the book).
