Book Review: The counterblast to the counterblast, yawn

What is the point? The mass mainstream media backs Bush, the war, the corporations etc and an opponent makes a stand against. That opponent is then smeared by those who enjoy the status quo and can't stand the outrageous lack of respect for authority and patriotism. A boring old story and the two authors quickly set out their agenda. The most obvious example being their rubbishing of Bowling for Columbine because Moore presents the National Rifle Association as heartless. Well, I thought that holding a rally in a town shortly after a gun massacre was heartless, obviously I was wrong. They complain that he presents welfare recipients as victims. Again the recipient in the film clearly is a victim and unless she's the only one like that then thse blokes are wrong. But I suspect that being white middle class patriots their judgement is clouded by lack of empathy and total loyalty to a flag. In short anyone expecting anything other than bland patriotic opinion (as opposed to a devestating expose of Moore's mistakes) is going to be disappointed. Any ticking of the unhelpful box is also purely political since what I have stated is factually correct and not open to 'debate' e.g. anyone supporting the NRA in its rally timing needs to see a psychiatrist. This books low sales confirm my points.
