Book Review: Look No Further for YOUR Self-Improvement

"Mindset - Programming Your Mind for Success", is an excellent book and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the quality of their life. It is one of the best investments I have made in the context of motivation and self-fulfillment. It has also assisted me in other ways both emotionally and physically.
Since reading Mindset, my life has changed significantly in many aspects. Each day, my life continues to improve.
When I first read Mindset, I was going through a difficult time in my life in numerous ways. A traumatic experience had occurred several months prior, (Aug. 2007), which I had severe difficulties with. After reading this book and practicing the techniques, I gained a new perspective, and consequently was able to lessen the impact of the tragedy and become more optimistic.
It has also significantly assisted me in pain management, which was troubling me for nearly fourteen years, after suffering an injury to the spine. While it has not cured my pain entirely, it certainly has helped in decreasing it, while many other procedures and methods have either been of minimal relief, or totally ineffective.
It has also assisted me in enhancing my vocal skills. In this instance, I can break this down into separate categories : The first being in a general sense, (in addition to practicing the techniques in Jamie's other book, Raise Your Voice II), and secondly, due to the aforementioned injury. As a result my injury, I have undergone numerous surgeries, five to be exact, to the cervical spine. Several doctors had told me I would never sing again as a result, due to the anterior procedures. With Mindset, I have not only overcome the obstacle, but have exceeded my own expectations.
I have also noticed a marked decrease in my pain levels in the lumbar spine, and had undergone a surgical procedure in the past as well, once again as a result of the same injury dating back to 1994.
Once again, due to another traumatic incident on September 23, 2008, I found myself lessen the emotional impact of this one much more quickly.
I can only attribute these changes in my life to Mindset, as all other methods of improvement and "peace of mind" have been of minimal, or no assistance to me.
Mindset has become a daily routine in my life, and I can only imagine the possibilities in the future.
I must add that I have had the opportunity to visit two of my doctors, and also, have acquired a medical report from my orthopedic surgeon, who, I might add, is world renowned in the newest and most advanced surgical techniques regarding spinal and brain injuries.
As a result of my injury, my primary physician, an internist, and my chiropractor have noticed that since I have been utilizing Mindset, my general outlook on life, my optimism, and my pain level has decreased. Neither can believe how much my life has changed in the past several months, and both are very well aware of the difficulties I have encountered over the past several years. When asked by both what has brought about such a change, I related that I had found an excellent resource to assist me in my daily life, "Mindset". Since then, both have assured me that they would highly recommend that I continue with "Mindset". Obviously, I told them I there is no way I would abandon such an excellent "program". I was also assured that they would be "RECOMMENDING MINDSET" to other patients with difficulties such as mine.
It is important to note that since my last surgery, I was still suffering from pain, and was told that I would have to "live with it", as there was nothing more that could be done surgically. As quoted in my surgeon's latest report : "This patient has been using a variety of different herbal remedies which has helped with his pain as well as a NEW BIOFEEDBACK TECHNIQUE CALLED MINDSET WHICH HAS HELPED IN HIS PAIN AS WELL AS HIS DEPRESSION AND OUTLOOK". To that, I can only add that I DO NOT HAVE TO "LIVE WITH IT".
Another 5 Star book by Jamie Vendera. I highly recommend this book, and would encourage anyone looking for self improvement to purchase it. Included with the purchase is the ability to access the newly instituted forum specifically created for Mindset. Share your experiences, and interact with others who have enjoyed the benefits of "Mindset".
