Book Reviews of Mommy?Book Review: Very Cool! Summary: 5 StarsWe're Maurice Sendak fans, and could not resist ordering this pop-up book. It is detailed, colorful and funny, and definitely unique. We only take it out to read with our 3-year-old since it's intricate enough to damage quite easily, I suspect.
Book Review: Fun but Fragile Summary: 4 StarsMy grandson loves Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are", & so I bought him this book for Christmas. It is very cleverly done--I had to look twice to see that you could lift the flap on the right hand side of each page for an additional drawing of what the little guy did to each monster. There are lots of fun details to each drawing & the spinning mummy is awesome. The only reservation I have is that all those pop-outs, etc. are very fragile & might not last long in the hands of a small child. This is a good book for Mom to read with her child until he is a little older!
Book Review: Way too fragile Summary: 3 StarsBeautiful illustrations, but way too fragile for my four year old...this is the kind of book you have to keep hiding in a safe place. Impractical
