Book Reviews of Mommy?Book Review: wordless wonder Summary: 5 StarsMy first grade students LOVE this book! They continue to ask me to "read" it long after Halloween has passed. It fueled an interest in pop-up books, and they started bringing them in from home (and even asked for them for Christmas)! It was also a great teaching tool for the power of illustration(s).
Book Review: Sendak's Mommy? Summary: 5 Starsthis book is fantastic!!! My two-year-old grandson adores it. We sometimes hide the book under the blanket to avoid reading it 5 or 6 times before he goes to bed. Now he reads it himself! A real work of art and not scary at all, in spite of all the monsters.
Book Review: Mommy Summary: 5 StarsSuperb example of the art of picture book and of paper engineering. However, no small child is going to be allowed near my copy! Too tempting.
Book Review: Mommy? Summary: 5 StarsIntricate and beautiful. Very young children will need some help, since (being paper) it's a little fragile. It's a work of art, and my grandchildren loved it.
