Book Reviews of Monster (Amistad)Book Review: Things that make you go hmmm.... Summary: 5 StarsMyers should have this book made into a movie! What a great plot! I was pulled in and I really did go "hmmm..." Myers raises so many questions about what is right and wrong and what really makes a monster. Are you guilty only if you commit the crime?
Book Review: Excellent. Summary: 5 StarsI loved this book. I love books with a lot of dialogue and this book is practically all dialogue. Fast paced and very realistic.
Book Review: Suspenseful and appealing to reluctant readers! Summary: 5 StarsAs a teacher, I first gave this book to one of my students. After he returned it in 2 days with his verdict ("Devastating!"), my impressions were confirmed. He found the ending so intruiging that he would not spoil it for me--and I won't either. Myers does an excellent job in telling a difficult story. The very unusual page layout is also inviting to kids who are intimidated by lots of verbage.
Book Review: WOW! one of the best books i ever read Summary: 5 StarsThis book was a great book. I was so into it that i read it in 1 day! It was so realastic and you could feel what the kid was going through! You should deffenitely get it.
Book Review: Adults Need to Read this book to understand teens Summary: 5 StarsMyers really understands teens. If you liked his Scorpions, you'll like this book. Adults need to read this book to really understand what it's like to be poor and a teen.
