Monster takes you through the life of one of Los Angeles most notorious gangsters. Kody Scott became an Eight Tray Crip at the age of eleven, and from that day on he treated gang banging as a job. As a result he and his family became strangers except for his little brother who also became a Crip. Constantly being sent to and from jail. He was shot six times at the age of sixteen and survived to revenge those who had shot him. Wanting to be a father for his daughter, he starts to turn his life around and becomes Sanyika Shakur.
