Book Review: Great Reading

Mercy Thompson lives next door to a werewolf and fixes cars in her garage for a vampire, she's also not "quite" human herself so when a "new" young werewolf comes to her for casual work she takes him in and lands herself in a lot of trouble, which means returning to the place where she was raised and having to deal with past issues!! A great story and you won't want to put it down - I hope there is a sequel.

One of the best books I've read for ages. Patricia Briggs is always worth looking at but in this book she really seems to have put everything together just right. The story twists and turns keeping up the suspense right to the very end. All the main characters are interesting and relate well to each other and humour is never very far from the surface. It helps if you are interested in wolves/ dogs but isn't strictly necessary. Let's hope this is the first of a series.Book Review: Moon Called - certainly was!

This was another excellent book penned by Patricia Briggs. I believe it to be the start of a new series, and i hope it's a long one. Mercy Tompson is a kick ass heroine, i love the way she is tangled with the werewolf world.
Adam sounds so hot, want to hear more about him!
If you love Laurell K Hamilton (similar to old anita), Kim Harrison, Charlaine Harris i am sure you will enjoy this book too!

First time reader of Patricia Briggs, I found the book Moon Called to be a rather interesting read! You have a Laura Croft style kick backside heroine, who is not what she seems. Able to shape shift into a Coyote, she is not liked by the other side of life, werewolves or vamps, but somehow manages to come to the rescue of the werewolves! A rather interesting read, and the characters, even though fiction, seem to jump off the page at you! Will read more Patricia Briggs from now on!
Enjoyable leisure read!
