Now for those of us who don't believe the tabloids or want to learn more about Michael, this is the book for you. No one else can describe Michael's life better than the King of Pop himself. His words are amazing. There are parts that will make you laugh. There are parts that will make you want to scream in anger. There are parts that will bring you to peace. Before reading this book I had never read a book in one day. I couldn't put it down. He talks about his childhood, his strict father, his love for children and nature, the success of Thriller, his relationships with Tatum O'Neal, Brooke Shields and Diana Ross. (He refers to Diana as his lover, sister and mother). I am a big MJ fan so I may be a little biased. I've always wanted to just sit down and speak with Michael Jackson to find out what kind of person he is. What makes him tick? What does he think of the media who's always riding him about his personal life? What about the rumors and myths such as him buying the elephant man's bones and sleeping in an machine. This book gives clear insight on the life of Michael Jackson through the eyes of Michael Jackson (not the press or the National Inquirer or any other media outlet). If you find this book, treasure it - I absolutely love autobiographies because you'll never here a story told from the view of that individual unless you hear it directly from him or her. I've read it once and I will read "Moonwalk" again!

Book Review: A Life Of A King

If you are an MJ fan, you gotta read this. I felt like I was in a room with him talking to him. He just gives you a detailed explanation and you can tell that he is a very talented writer. He just made me see what his childhood was like with my eyes. It sometimes made me want to laugh and cry. It became my favorite and I have read it 5 times and I think I could read it again. If you are a fast reader and like to get reading overwith, this only takes about 4 hours to read in a day. This is a very good book, I am serious, if you are a MJJ fan please read!!MJFOREVER AND HEAL THE WORLD CUZ, WE ARE THE WORLD!!!
