Book Review: it made me want more
Summary: 5 Stars

ahh michael jackson wrote this pretty well and at the end he defintly left me wanting more. it's all about his life and all the hardships he had as a child proformer and never having a real childhood to his adult life where he mentions all the pain he went through with the tabloids about his looks. this is a woderful book for any michael fan.

Book Review: leaves you wanting more
Summary: 5 Stars

He is a tease in this book...he will tell you very detailed stories about life on the road when he was a kid, his relationship with his family, his constant regret that he just didnt have the relationship with his father that he would have liked, and especially what brought those hits we love so dearly to life ...but he was such a tease when it came to him speaking about himself, he would let you in for so long, then he would close the box. I cant say I completely blame him. though tempting. His pictures and drawings, along with his words, are worth it, and I wouldnt have missed it for the world.

Its funny....as I was reading the book...sometimes I could almost hear him talking...maybe its just me. What the book left me with was a wanting to know more, which is natural....and a genuine sorrow for this beautiful, talented, sensitive, and misunderstood man. He saw his own potential and while in his earlier years, he was almost afraid of it in his private moments, and the most use to himself when it was working on one of his many crafts.

I was somewhat taken aback regarding a few statements he made in the book that made me see that some of the very roads he did not intend to walk, may have trudged him away from us sooner than any of us had expected.

He is honest, speaks from the heart and gives advice. Its a shame that he didnt write a follow up, because this book was written in 1988, 21 years ago, and much has happened then.

I was hoping the book would be a longer read, but even when taking my time, I read it three evenings.

Book Review: the man in the mirror
Summary: 5 Stars

Out of the hundreds of books that I have read about Michael Jackson this is my favorite because it is the most descriptive and fascinating and detailed. Everything about Michael's legendary life is disclosed. The way he makes music, how he learned to dance, his hobbies, his friends and much more. As he told Oprah in 1993, he if you want to learn about all of the private aspects of his life pick up "Moonwalk".

Book Review: the real Michael Jackson

If you're a fan, you'll love this book, as you'll discover things you didn't know about Michael's life.... if you're not a fan, it will probably show you a very different picture of Michael Jackson....the real one. he's a great writter and this is a great book
