Book Review: This book is fabulous !!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great inspirational work. As a professional engineer I was impressed with Robs practical and structured design approach to building environmentally harmonious low cost homes. Note I say 'homes' as there is a great deal of difference between house, or other structure and a true home. I have personally questioned some insane practices related to building regulations and finance. Over engineering is a comparable crime to under engineering and being intimidated by a bankers and estate agents is in essence a perfect crime. His strategies are outwardly obvious, the true indicator of pragmatic solutions, and the book is simple while not being simplistic. He writes with an elegant and engaging style, the book was read in a single sitting.I strongly recommend this book. It has certainly bolstered my intent to build without a mortgage. As a wise man once said 'To know and not to do is to not have known'
