I bought Mother Food for myself as I am a soon to be mommy and found this book to be more than what I expected. It answered all my questions and curiosities about breast feeding health. It should go hand in hand with the La Leche League's The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. They both give power and knowledge to mothers while breast feeding. It's a wonderful guide on staying healthy and covers other topics that may come up during breast feeding including, allergies, colic, depression, and weightloss. You also get holistic recipes and a list of herbal remedies of what to use and when not to use. A great overall book to reference to and pass around to other mothers.
