Book Review: Warriors against whom?

I have been wondering just who these "warriors" are fighting against and come to the conclusion that it is their own children. They vilify anyone who chooses to love and accept their autistic children the way they are. They are so unable to do this that they would rather let unqualified, self-appointed "autism doctors" pump them full of untested drugs and chemicals, as well as subjecting them to traumatic, invasive proceedures like colonoscopies and spinal taps, in a desperate bid to force them to be something they are not.
Several children have already died from these "treatments", there is no properly documented case of anyone being "cured".
Parents like Jenny McCarthy will stop at nothing until their children are either cured or dead. Given the track record of these "treatments" the second option is far more likely.
Oh, and did I mention that the author is a porn star?
