Book Reviews of Mouse Paint

Book Review: My very very favorite book!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my very, very favorite book (and I am a well educated, high functioning adult)! I never get tired of reading it and I have bought it for every child I know. Wonderful, wonderful.

Book Review: OUTSTANDING!
Summary: 5 Stars

I was first introduced to this book while a nanny-in-training at The English Nanny & Governess School in Cleveland, OH. This is still, eleven years later, my favorite pre-schooler book. It is charming, reviews the material in more than one educational way and, while we all adore Harry Potter, these three white mice outshine even the magical Harry!

Book Review: Painting mice, how nice
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughters loved this book during ages 3-5. In a cute yet simple way, the mice delightfully display the primary colors and then show the creation of secondaries. Inevitably, after reading this book for the first time, your child will want to get out the watercolors and some paper. Whenever a book spawns activity, it is a sign that learning happened.

Book Review: Passes the kid test with flying colors!
Summary: 5 Stars

I know...corny heading--but so true. My three year old loves this book, and my 20-month old goes crazy for it. We checked Mouse Paint out from the library, then rechecked it out, and finally ordered our own copy. When the book arrived, my toddler exclaimed, "Daddy! Mouse Paint!"

This is a cute and clever telling of how mixing paint colors brings new colors. The pictures are simple, but appealing, as is the text.

Bottom-line: If your children are 0-3 buy this book!

Book Review: Short and Sweet
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is perfect for little ones especially with their short attention spans. The pictures are appealing and a mommy or daddy can point out all the colors in the book. The story is cute and has great educational value teaching little ones about colors. My son (18 mos) really enjoys this book and sits on the floor and looks at the pictures by himself as much as he has me reading it to him.
