Book Review: Not for the conservative, merely artistic photography, great shots

With a name like "Mr Classic" it's gotten off at the wrong stop, and that's the only reason I originally bought this book for, the cover is also rather misleading, but what the book IS rich in is the colours of clothing, and to be honest just seeing a4 size photographs of fine clothing with pleasing backgrounds, of hunt gear and tweeds and pseudo-Brideshead_Revisited is pleasing enough for me to always pick this book when thinking is not on call.
Despite about four or five shots being of fences chairs and dogs alone, (artistic mind you) and despite the bravado involved in showing one's childhood artwork in the middle of the book (in a contemporary manner??) I do wish he'd have left off showing suggestive shirtless models just for the kicks.
I rate it four because Allan Flusser and Nicholas Antongiavanni don't do a fraction of what this guy does in showing clothing as opposed to talking about it (I always wanted to SEE gents in tophats and Fox umbrellas)
