Book Review: A Different perspective

I generally dont ever write reviews for books because I understand that it is all a matter of taste. What might be good to me is not going to be good for everyone else. I do read the reviews, though, and they do make a difference on whether I order a book or not-usually if enough people like a series or a book it can mean that there is a chance it will be good. That being said, I had to write in on this book for those that are like me and depend on reviews for additional opinions. I did read this book, and the sequel, but only because I forced myself to finish after beginning it. The writing was good enough to be entertaining, and I read them through thinking that maybe there was a twist I wasn't seeing or some way that the main character was going to have an AHA moment and realize that she was incredibly annoying. While I was reading the first book, halfway through I was hoping that the twist was going to be that the main character was going to be the victim and the sister would turn out to be the main character.... So, for people like me, reading reviews for some extra input... There are many very good cozies out there that are fun reading when you are in the mood, this is just not one of them.
