Book Review: Finally!
Summary: 5 Stars
Finally, a book that got my toddler interested in using the potty! I'm not sure what it was about this book, but he read it only once or twice before he wanted me to read it to him while he sat on the potty. It has worked great in peaking his interest to potty and be like the character in the book.
Also, we tried using M&Ms as a reward every time he pottied, but then started a sticker chart (found in another book) and that has worked even better!

I have had difficulty finding a really good, descriptive book for a boy for potty training my 2-1/2 year old. I bought this one online and hoped for the best. Turns out it is really great! Very descriptive for the whole potty training process. My son now "reads" much of the book and often flips to the pages that relate to him, for example he will flip to the page where Michael (the little boy in the book) is sitting on the potty reading his books b/c that's what we are doing. Definately recommend this book to parents working towards potty training their sons!Book Review: Good for performance anxiety

This is quite a good book in that it gets the child to identify with the character, Michael, and the steps Michael takes to become potty trained. I really like the idea that Michael isn't successful his first time and has to practice on the potty--exactly what my 2.5 year old needs! This is much better than the Ernie Goes Potty book, which is too short and simplistic. My son likes it in combination with the "Everybody Poops" book.Book Review: Good potty book

My son likes me to read this to him on the potty. He seems to identify with the boy in the book. He's got a lot of the same toys as the boy in the book. We have used the book to get him started with potty time, and it seemed to ease his transition into sitting on the potty. We are still training, though.
