Book Review: Goodbye Diapers!
Summary: 4 Stars
My son is doing great on potty training, but needed a little nudge. So I bought him a batch of potty books to help him make that final transition. This book has TOO many words for a 2 year old, but the pictures are clear and you can summarize them for a younger child (thus the 4 star rating). Probably perfect for the 3 year olds out there! Anyway, we read this book the first time and then my son REFUSED to wear diapers to bed. We are now going on a week of staying dry overnight and only 1-2 accidents a day (almost always involving the dreaded #2 once a day--ugh!).
We have re-summarized this book a few times now, but he is more interested in the other books I got him. (Helpful Hint: Even Firefighters Go to the Potty and Where is the Poop?) However, I still attribute his sudden adversion to diapers to the part of the story where the child in the book switches to underwear. I have put the diapers away! Good luck on your journey too!

I just got this for my almost 3 yr old son who is always telling me "no no potty mommy". But he really enjoys the story and I don't mind reading it over and over and over. I think this is a good start for him and his potty.Book Review: Great Book

My 2 year old really enjoys the book. He says he goes potty like Michael. He really doesn't yet, but it is a good book to introduce the concept. Well worth the money.Book Review: Great Potty Book

This is such a cute book, and it touches on some good potty training issues, like the fact that it takes some time & practice, and sometimes accidents happen. It's a little long, though; although my 2-year-olds usually hang in there, it tests their attention span at times. Overall, I think it's one of the better potty training books I've seen.Book Review: Great Potty Training Book for Boys

My son relates to this book. It "asks" questions like "This is Micheal. He wears diapers. Do you wear diapers?" and my son gets really interested because he thinks the book is talking to him. Very good.
