My son loved this book and it definitely encouraged him with potty training. After the first read he would make comments about being 'like Michael in the book'. We are just starting potty training and my son LOVES this book. He can totally relate to Michael, the little boy in the story. I think it does a great job of explaining the potty training process in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Each time we read it he gets excited about trying to use the potty. I got this book because I liked the story and it didn't show bathroom misbehavior - why tell kids about pulling all the toilet paper off the roll? He didn't like it at first, but right around 2 1/2, when he really seemed ready to start training, he really started to like it.Book Review: My son loves it!

I got this book for my almost 3 year old son and it's been great! We read it everytime he has potty time and I think it has really helped him enjoy sitting on the potty. The story is cute and the language is just right for a preschooler. It's make potty training a positive/pleasant experience for all of us. I also like that the story includes washing hands afterwards, still wearing diapers at night but then going to the store to buy big boy underpants, and having accidents.Book Review: My stubborn boy loves it!
