Book Review: Great book marred by sloppy editing

As a Spanish speaker with a toddler, I was thrilled to see this book available on Amazon, having bought the English version for numbers of friends' kids, always to a rapturous reception.
The print quality in both is fantastic - joyous photos, clear typography, zinging colours, clear layout. I would give the English version 5 stars on these points alone.
My big beef is that in the Spanish version, the editing has been so sloppy that on the front and rear covers in only 2 or 3 sentences there are many, many spelling, grammar and agreement mistakes - errors which an 'O' level student would not have been allowed to get away with in the olden days. PrimerO palabras? EsSenciales? AyuNda? These are some of the the slips - the construction errors are also jarring for anyone who knows a bit of Spanish. This makes me doubt the trustworthiness of the content of the whole book - though at first glance it doesn't look too bad.
This is a slipshod editing job from a publishing house which should know better; a disservice to a lovely book in the original; a missed opportunity to engage with parents intending to bring their children up bilingually, and a thumbed nose to trained Hispanists or native Spanish speakers, any one of whom, if consulted, could have polished up what looks like a bad machine translation. I am disappointed in Priddy.
