My mom and I worked for hours filling out my first autobiography when I was three. When I was in fourth grade I went back and updated everything. Now that I am twenty I am buying another copy to document my life at every stage. I have had so much fun looking back at what I thought when I was three and ten, I can't wait to look back and remember what I thought of myself and the world around me as a young adult.Book Review: The book that keeps going and going and going.....

I DID receive a Book About Me when I was 6 years old. I have kept it with me through 5 moves across several states, and it still thrills me to look and remember. My older sister helped me with some of the drawing which brings back wonderful memories of our work together. Now I share this "antique' with my son who is 6 himself. He loves reading about Mom like she was years ago. I have waited until he is old enough to be able, not only to do the drawings and other activities, but to appreciate the memories himself. My daughter received this book as a gift for her 5th
Birthday. One year later it is chocked full of information
about her. Each page requires the child to write or draw
things about their house, school, friends, family, clothes,
food, toys, etc. I am surprised by the LOW cost of this
treasure. It is a great activity book for any age child and
once it's completed, it provides on-going entertainment. I
wish I had this book when I was a child! It makes a great
gift for any occasion!
