Book Reviews of My Boys Can Swim!: The Official Guy's Guide to Pregnancy

Book Review: The Author is not as funny as he thinks he is
Summary: 1 Stars

I read it in about 2 hours. There is no real clinical information here. It is more of an autobiographical account of this guy having a kid. You can ask any of your friends about their pregnancy and get more insight.

Book Review: Dumb down version
Summary: 2 Stars

If you don't want to understand much about the pregnency, then this is a great book for your. It has very little detail and talks in very very general terms about things. If you like information i would strongly recommend another book that has much more detail.

I was very disapponted and returned it after 1 hour of reading the book.

Book Review: Husband LOVED it!
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband absolutely loved it! I dunno why exactly, it was kinda short, and I didn't laugh anywhere NEAR as hard as he did, but he loved it. It explains things in a man's perspective I guess. Certain guys will love it, others not so much. My hubby is a bit rough around the edges, so if you have one of those I think he'll like it.

Book Review: Don't waste your money!
Summary: 1 Stars

This book is a waste of money! No useful information at all. This book is definitely less than I expected.

Book Review: Oh Pleeaasseeee!!!! This book is great
Summary: 5 Stars

For all those people who gave this book a low rating....PLEASE SPEND SOME TIME LOOKING FOR YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR!!! This book is great for men. Women need to remember that men do not go through the pregnancy and will never really know what it feels like to be a woman and frankly I don't want them to. Men can only know how they feel when their partner is knocked up. This book looks at pregnancy from a mans view with a real, light hearted and loving sense of humor. I can tell Mr. Davis really loves his wife. I wish all men could be so honest in their love for their partners. If you want a book that is boring and full of facts that will probably never happen in your life read "what to expect..." this book is full of real life experience made funny by a clever, witty, imaginative and I am sure handsome man!!!!
