My Busy Day is an amusing and wonderfully illustrated book that emotes a feeling of kindness, within a structure of a little girl's "Busy Day". Our two-year grand-daughter absolutely loves this book, and it is the first one that she has actually memorized page by page. Every night she wants to have the book read again to her. The events of a child's day...waking-up, eating breakfast, getting ready for day care, interacting with friends at day care, nap time, and returning home depict the beauty of continuity and family in a simple, very cool way. I would rate this book highly as a nicely-sized gentle gem...a fine addition to a pre-school library.
