Book Review: Potty Party Time!

These stickers in this book are great. While training my son, I decided to go the potty party route. Every time he used the potty, I would have a little party by clapping, being excited, and putting one of these stickers on the chart. It took my son about a month to be fully potty trained (he's 3) and he really loved the stickers. Although he didn't understand what the stickers said, he really liked putting them on the chart. My just turned 2 year old boy decided he was ready to start going pee in the potty. Maybe because he's the third of 3 boys, he is doing things much quicker than the first 2. The first two were potty trained right at 3 years old. I used sweets for rewards because nothing else made them excited. So I was so happy to see this great sticker book to use as a reward instead of treats (it's hard to wean them from sweets). He does not understand the words but loves looking at the large variety of stickers and choosing one to stick on the chart. I thought he'd want to wear his sticker but enjoys putting it on the chart. I love the variety of stickers (not just for peeing and pooping but also for things like washing hands and using toilet paper) and am thrilled they are designed just for boys!Book Review: a little disappointed

Whilst the concept is good I had it sent to NZ from the US and felt like it was not much for the money. The stickers, whilst all about underwear and toilets have left me wondering if they are 'flash enough' to make a child feel proud. I could have made a chart and brought some stickers for a lot less than the purchase price and, in all honesty, probably got the same reaction from my son. Either way I'm sure the little guy will love it when he gets around to using it, I might just add my own sparkly stars. This is an incredible book! My son just loves being able to pick a sticker to put on the chart. It's really helping him (and me) with his potty training. With the new glossy stickers, I'll be able to keep it for him in his baby book and not have to worry about the condition of the stickers after a few years. This is definitely a must purchase for anyone potty training their son (or daughter ~ since one's available for girls, as well).Book Review: Lets go potty!

Do they make these for adults :) This book is so cute and so motivational! The child goes potty and then, as a motivater, picks their own sticker and puts it on their spot on the chart, and what child doesn't like stickers? This makes them feel even "bigger" and gives them a huge boost in the right direction, the POTTY!!! The stickers are adorable. The progress calendar would be nice to save also with the baby book. I recommend!
