Book Review: Fun but a bit predictable

I read this book due to all the accolades the movie had received. I had the movie recorded on my DVR so I figured I would read the book before I watched the movie. I didn't know anything about the book going in to it. I thought the book was well written. I don't read many mystery novels so I didn't have much to compare it to. I thought it was a lot better written than the average Grisham or Baldacci book.
My wife hates how I always figure out movies midway through them and this book was no different. I enjoyed how the mystery unraveled and the hints that were given along the way. Unfortunately, I figured out the mystery about half way through the book. There were a couple of hints that seemed too obvious to me. I still enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.
I guess I will need to get a few recommendations for a few more quality mysteries.

This is one of those books that gets you emotionally involved with the characters, pulling and twisting throughout. Then you get to the end and its just like hey lets make a real ironic twist from a bunch of nonsense. It was a great author trying too hard to make a memorable ending. Thats what ruined the entire book for me. There is nothing in the world worse than a great book with an ending that makes you go, what were you thinking!!!!!!Book Review: Great seller
