Book Review: It's a shame they took this Bible out of print

As a Christian I believe it is essential to know G-d's Word and be able to understand it and teach it to others. The NKJV Quick Reference Bible is one of the best Bibles out there for that purpose. It starts with the Biblical Cyclopedic Index that is found in the very popular Open Bible. This is important because the Nelson Bible Reference series in general has a very small concordance and this Bible is no different. But with the BCI you get a lot of information that works like a concordance in many ways.
It is a real shame that Nelson stopped publishing this Bible. I bought four backups and I stand by this Bible as being awesome. Moreover, it uses the New King James Version, which is the best literal translation out there today in my opinion and stands side by side with the KJV as a worthy predecessor (but not replacement!). If there are any of these available, I would recommend purchasing them highly. The marginal notes are fantastic, it isn't heavy at all (I have only one good arm and both my hands are weak and hurt all the time so this is a blessing) and the print is a wonderful size. I'd guess about a 10 to 12 point font?
If you love reading from the NKJV and don't like study notes or carrying around five pound study Bibles, THIS is the Bible for you (in my opinion).
