Book Review: Close, but no cigar

First of all kudos for this book dedicated to the most wonderful creature on earth.. Gosh they all are so beautiful!. Now the downside (wish there was none). Being a long time Domai web site fan, I was expecting a better composition overall on this printed edition (bigger format, variety in shot selection, close-ups and so on). The photos are of excellent quality and there are certainly plenty of photographs in this book. A wide range of models and photographers are showcased and for a rather small in size (dimensions) book, it makes up for it in the number of pages. The quibble I have with the book is that there is a certain repetition in the posing of the beautiful models, and each model is not given the same number of shots. Each model seemed to be in a single theme setting; all on the beach, or all among trees, among grasses, etc. Some of the models get much more space than others. Only one set of photographs is by Stobblehouse himself. I was surprised to find myself thinking repetition when viewing the book, but that is what I felt. I wanted to see more from some, and less from others. That is what stops me from giving it five stars. The poses are all taken outside, and show an excellent use of light and shadow.Book Review: Figure artist dream

Wow what a book, it's way to small, like 5"x7" or some such lill size but man is this packed with the best bunch of nudes I have ever seen.
I like it for the A+ models, the natural outdoor light and the lack of a bunch of b.s. props. I want a 8'x10" version, though it would have to cost $100 bucks.
I will get some of my models to check this book for ideas and even do some out door paintings with the look of this book. Oh ya no big fake looking plastic boobies, thank god.

Book Review: Great pictures in a small package

Some of the best Natural Beauties I've seen in awhile. The only draw back is the size of the book. With all those beautiful images, it should've been a lot bigger so that you can see the pictures better. Overall I feel that it is a great book for anyone who admires the female form. I would have liked to have seen more of Hegre's work in it than just one set of pictures. 4 out of 5 stars due to the size of the book.
