Book Review: A philosophy and set of principles for a natural golf swing, but probably not much use to the beginner.
Summary: 4 Stars
You won't find a detailed list of specific techniques, tips or tricks in this book, but instead a comprehensive philosophy of the golf swing - what the golf swing should feel like and the principles upon which it should be built.
If you already have a golf swing of some sort, and are looking to improve it, I would recommend this book. However, if you are a total beginner and need to get the basics, this is probably not the place to start. Although the author covers fundamental concepts like stance and grip, my impression was that he assumes his readers already know most of that, and so doesn't give these basics much attention.
Instead, the focus is on concepts like balance and loading during the backswing, and moving your weight towards your target. All of this clicked with me, and I've improved my game by applying these concepts.
