Book Reviews of Natural Golf SwingBook Review: Absolutely wonderful Summary: 5 Stars
I just received this book two days ago from Amazon. I casually opened it and began reading. I could not put it down other than to run downstairst to try the different aspects as George and Lorne describe them.
It is extremely cold here so I drove over 30 miles to the dome to try the concept as I understand it. It seemed so easy. I cannot wait to get on the course.
Book Review: An Excellent Foudation to Learn the Game!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been given a lot of advice on my golf game and nothing compares with this book. It confirms what I've always felt about golf, the game doesn't have to be THAT difficult. The theory behind it is sound and the mechanics are easy to understand and apply. This gives you the foundation that you need. The theory behind the Natural Swing gives you something to build on and allows you to have a steady and solid game for the rest of your life. It's the perfect application of logic to a game that should be fun and enjoyable and not frustrating and painful (physically and emotionally).
Book Review: Best golf swing book I've ever read Summary: 5 Stars
George makes the golf swing simple and make sense using the fact that physics governs all physical activities, golf being one of those activities. I keep this book in the loop and I have read it over and over again, and each time I pick up on something I didn't catch before, or I remember something I had forgotten. It's just a great book, but stubborn people that believe you have to strain your body, or put you body into certain positions in order to hit the ball will not benefit from it. This book is for anyone with an open mind that really want to know how the golf swing works, whether you be a scratch golfer or a 20 handicap. I hope this book helps you as much as it has helped me.
Book Review: Golf tutorial Summary: 5 Stars
George Knudson possessed one of the finest swings in all of golf, as confirmed by none other than Jack Nicklaus. This book is a well written tutorial for the moderate to advanced player on how to improve by understanding the basic fundamentals of the golf swing more clearly......
Book Review: Good Golf book. Summary: 4 Stars
I am glad I learned of this book...it allowed to eliminate the multitude of swing thoughts etc. which were leading to 'paralysis by analysis'. If this sounds like you, the book may be helpful. The swing proposed by Knudson, is rather simple, as explained by other reviewers; basically, hands remain passive while weight transfer and balance drive everything. The swing itself is now a lot more enjoyable for me. There is some repetition in the book, and reading about Knudson's time on tour is rather boring. The 150 page book could be compressed in less than half that; regardless, worth going through the whole thing to change your swing.
