I've done a lot of fabric printing with leaves and have never found a book with original ideas on the subject so I was interested to find this book with Amazon.
The work of the author is definitely original. She prints from a wide variety of natural material, and I've gained some interesting new ideas from the book although personally I wouldn't feel very comfortable using real fish! She has also experimented with computers, scanning real ojects such as leave, rocks, twigs, etc to make templates for artwork.
The book is full of stories and personal observations about nature and our relationship with it and the author's opening words set the theme:"I can't believe what my eyes missed" after printing with a leaf on paper and noting the difference between the print and what she had observed beforehand.
For anyone who loves fabrics and nature, this is an good source book for new ideas.
