Jimmy and Nina were left to fend for themselves after their mother was put in jail for her actions. They only had each other to count on but they manage to turn there lives around from negative to positive, Jimmy went pro and Nina became a police officer. Live was good for Jimmy until he goes to the doctor to find out that he needs a kidney transplant and without this kidney he could die. While battling that news his past wakes up from the dead.
With drama, lies, secrets, family reunions, love, forgiveness and killing the book is good. The problem I had with the book is the author narrated the whole book without giving the characters their own voices.
