Book Review: You'll have to read it to believe it.

I work in the sales dept. for a fairly large consumer products company. My direct supervisor is one of the cheapest men alive. When he personally bought over eighty copies of this book for us, no one could believe it. But I will tell you that since we all got our copies not a morning meeting goes by where someone doesn't have a story about how they used one of the techniques. There's no way to explain how simply amazing this book is. My advice: read it.Book Review: This book is scary

Mark my words: this book is going to change the way people relate to each other--for the better. I would have given it five stars but I took one away because to some degree it shows people how to become better at lying. I know this wasn't the intention of the book, but it does this nonetheless.Overall the book is truly astounding. The techniques are not just common sense advice, they use proven, practical systems for lie detection. What I found most surprising is just how fast you can tell if you're being lied to. It really does take only two to three minutes.
There's a section called MIND GAMES and an other called ADVANCED TECHNIQUES. Check these out first, they work for me almost every single time.
And a fun read too. It's not dry at all. The book is broken down into many sections so you can learn something new every couple of pages.

After seeing the author on NBC's Today show I bought the book and have not stopped using it since. It's just such a GREAT feeling to know that I'm not being screwed over by everyone anymore. You feel like you can see into the mind of the person you're talking to. It makes you feel like your psychicIn the past two weeks it has saved me over $200 at the mecahnics (I used one of the techniques in the book and found out he was lying to me about my brakes AND transmission) amd it has probably saved me a lot of heartache. (It turns out that a guy I had just met was married although he told me otherwise. He confessed to being married after about ten minutes when I used one of the advanced techniques on him) I'm not kidding--this stuff works like magic. This book could not have come at a better time. (Although I don't beleive in coincidences)
All in all,of the books I've read over the years,this is the most significant without adoubt. I can't say enough about it.

This book is great, great, great. I have read everything and anything on human behavior and this book goes well beyond them all. It's so great because the techniques work so well. After I read this book I was able to tell who was lying to me and who wasn't in every conversation or situation I found my self in. As a sales manager I use it at work all of the time. Read it and you'll know what I'm talking about.
