Book Reviews of New Answers Book Part 1 (Answers Book Series)Book Review: A great book to give to friends! Summary: 5 Stars
-An extremely relevant and up-to-date handbook for clarifying so many important issues that are often terribly compromised in today's muddy whirlpool of contradictory beliefs.
This book contains a wealth of easy-to-read information on common questions about the Christian Biblical view of creation. The independent chapters make it a terrific resource for quick reference. I've given more of these books away to friends than any other (next to the Bible!).
Book Review: Awesome book to help answer your questions on Creation! Summary: 5 Stars
I was given this book for my high school graduation, and now I give it out to others! It helped build my faith very much, to help me realize that believing in God isn't just out of "blind faith". We have a God who is logical, who wants us to have a thinking faith. And there are a lot of reasons why Creation makes sense; not JUST because God said so in the Bible. He even says in the Psalms that He gives evidence for Creation in the world... We can study and be amazed by our AWESOME GOD and what He created!!
And evolutionists: please have some respect for Creationists. We are not stupid or uneducated (I am tired of hearing people say this). I am almost done with a Masters degree in Nursing, and the more I learn about how intricate the human body is, the more I believe that we are wonderfully designed! We have a Creator who pieced every part of us together; there is no way, for example, that the eye could have just "evolved". It is far too complex; lose one part and it doesn't function; therefore it has no purpose. Also, tell me when you last saw a bird with 1/2 wings developed?!?! Either an animal has wings and they are fully functional (either swimming or flying), or they don't. Anything in between would be detrimental to the bird's life; they would be easier prey to predators.
So please, have some respect. Creationism IS science. We just believe that God started it all, rather than just random chance. (which is like someone happening to type up an encyclopedia by chance; the human body is much more complex than a book however!!!)
Book Review: Awesome book! Summary: 5 Stars
Sorry, I'm still laughing at Carl's misguided misquoted twisting of the Book of Job below!! Please leave Biblical hermeneutics to those who know what they are doing. Read Carl's review below for humor - read The New Answers Book for an awesome handling of this Creation/Evolution issue. I'm not sure too many Evolutionists are aware of the Scientific Dissent from Darwinism - which one can Google to read about. Nearly a thousand scientists from all across the nation (Stanford, Yale, Smithsonian Institute, just to name a few places) have signed the document stating that Darwin's theory is flawed, misguided and indefensible. Despite this, Evolutionists still love to mistakenly claim that Creationists have neither real science nor any real scientists behind their views. Sadly much of the public is following the rest of the lemmings off of the cliff on this issue.
The evidence presented in this book is quite compelling (unless you choose to close your eyes to it) and evidence given that dinosaurs co-existed with man is simply undeniable. I've still yet to hear an Evolutionist give a good reason for the dinosaur footprints found alongside of human footprints in the Paluxy River bed, near Glen Rose, Texas.
Many other great topics are covered as well such as starlight and time, the fossil record and carbon dating just to name a few.
Book Review: Complete drivel Summary: 1 Stars
Badly written drivel. Appallingly bad, the book attempts to link science to the Bible by taking huge leaps into the unknown and faking it.
As a Christian, I'm insulted by the cut-n-paste of the Bible to try to match the author's agenda.
Book Review: Creates questions, not answers... Summary: 1 Stars
This book provides no answers whatsoever. In fact, it creates MORE questions. The "answers" it gives are so vague, so gray, they never provide clear explanations. I would read and re-read the conclusion sections trying to grasp their meaning and yet I came away more confused than ever before.... Avoid.
