Book Review: 5 Blue Ribbons from Staci Kilpatrick at Romance Junkies

Logan Marshall has come to the conclusion that he is missing a vital piece of his life - a mate. Seeing his brothers and cousins find their mates and become content with their lives really points this out to him. Logan is a strong and solitary man who has a protective streak a mile wide and the events in this book push the limit of his control over his beast and his heart.
Rinna is a unique woman from a parallel universe. She is a shape shifter and female warewolves aren't supposed to exist in Logan's universe. Rinna has overcome a hard life to live a harder and more desolate one. Through her psychic gifts, she has learned how to cross over into Logan's universe for a respite from her desolate life and a free run as a wolf.
Falcone is an evil man from Rinna's universe and he is coming after her. He wants to control Rinna and her psychic gifts. Logan has planted himself right in the middle of her fight. Can they escape Falcone's grasp together? Will they be able to find a life with each other in all their running?
NEW MOON is a refreshing story told with a new light and a few twists I couldn't see coming. Ms. York brought some wonderfully strong characters into this book with Logan and Rinna. Their love is a pure and caring love that brings tears to the reader's eyes. She reprised some of our beloved characters from previous books and they helped to complete this story. NEW MOON is a definite "must read" in this clever series!
