Book Review: A bit emo
Summary: 2 Stars
This book is quite possibly one of the most emo books out there. There is a lot of angst in the book. Jacob and Jasper were the only two reasons why I don't hate the book that much.
Bella gets to be extremely needy in this book. She's so co-dependant and can't live without Edward. She leeches herself to Jacob after months of being without Edward.
When Bella jumps off a cliff, Edward feels as if he cannot go on without her. It is not romantic to talk of suicide after a loved one dies, especially since he didn't even find out that Bella didn't even die.
Major plot points are not extreme sports. This is the only action there was for most of the book, other than Bella and Alice going to Italy to stop Edward.
The writing of the book feels very weak. Technically speaking, Smeyer strings along adjectives that occasionally cancel each other out. Even more horrid is the grammer, but compared to Breaking Dawn, the Host and Bree Tanner book it is decent.
